Volunteer Work
In 1993 I went on my first medical mission trip to Guyana, South America. I was with Doctors, Nurses, Dentists and Pharmacists. I watched as these professionals worked at the top of the game helping the poorest of poor. As an Engineer I felt very inadequate and totally like I had no skills to offer these people. I started searching for organizations where I could use my skills to help the less fortunate. I found eMi, Engineering Ministries International in 2004 and went on my first trip in 2005. If you are an Architect, Engineer or Surveyor and have a heart to help those that quite literally have nothing, eMi could use you.
Sincerely,
Kent Mace
